Welcome to my website dedicated to my collection of diecast cars. The site is designed as a place to share my love of the hobby and display my collection to the world. My modest collection started life as a 1:18 scale collection only. However, there are many models, particularly race cars, that are not available in 1:18 scale, but can be bought in the smaller 1:43 scale. When I received a gift from a Canadian friend and fellow collector of a 1:43 scale Bentley Le Mans racer, I accepted the inevitable, and decided that my collection would consist of a selection of models in both scales. At the time of creating this website, my collection is very much in its infancy, but as it grows the website too will expand to cover the new models. In time I plan to add a review of each model, so hopefully this site can also become a useful resource for other collectors, much like the ones I visited when I started collecting.
The reviews on the site are all authored by me, and they only reflect my opinion of the model. I have tried to make the reviews objective and unbiased, so as to be a true and accurate representation of the model. The reviews are divided into categories, and each of these is given a score out of 10, with an overall score at the end of the review which is the average of all the category scores. The scoring system I use was devised by the staff at DiecastXchange, and so my thanks, and full credit for the system, goes to them. You may place greater importance on certain aspects of a model, in which case you might not agree with my scoring. I hope that combined with the written review I can give at least a reasonable idea of what can be expected from a model. The photos seen here are also my work, and as such are my property. They should not be used anywhere else without my permission.
To get started, just choose a section from the menu at the top of the page, and then click on a model to see photos and, if I have written one, a review. Those models without a link have neither photos or a review yet, but I intend to add photos and reviews all the time, so bookmark the site and be sure to check back from time to time.
